So sad. I lost a friend many years ago to a car crash and the sudden loss of a young, vibrant person is so shocking and tragic. Prayers to his family, friends and teammates!

I lost my best friend to a car, train wreck that killed 3 other people. Crossing over 2 tracks in Kansas with a stopped train on one and never saw the train coming (no crossing arms). All 20 years old. Heck of a thing to lose such young people with an entire life ahead of them.

Really sad having lost Galen Young three years ago and now Hazel and his HS teammates - both accidents attributed to reckless driving. Hopefully the driver in the latter incident doesn’t receive a slap on the wrist as happened with Young’s case.
