It's finally over. 2014-2015 season comes to an end.

i feel sure judy will have an exit (season) conversation with every player, scollie or not. many questions along many lines. the way i’d do it anyway.
while i have little confidence left in the current coaching staff, i do still believe in the AD. it just ain’t as simple as some of you would like to believe! thank god, there are some adults with experience in administering athletics left in the AD!

clt watched the game on his vcr, so clt had to avoid media.

The observer homepage would not be a problem, as they have no coverage of the game.

what do you guys really think will happen
I would be okay with Major returning. His recruiting has been a positive, Dorn, Woods, OB, Izundu.
All local kids. They are solid players. The next coach could be better during the game but would he
bring in the talent to win?. If I was Judy Rose, I would bring Major back. Who wants to pay a fired
coach for 3 more years. I would tell Major to fire all his assistants are your not coming back. How
hard would it be to search the country for some assistants that can teach this kids how to play defense?
Major just doesn’t know how to. Defense is the reason this season went down the tubes. Improve the
defense and a 20 win season is possible.

He’s had 5 years. He’s had loads of transfers. He’s had no success.

He’s gone anyway. If he “steps away” for medical reasons, we won’t pay him for 3 years.

With all due respect…you are out of your mind.
I’m a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. I have been as long as I can remember.
That was the toughest single season I’ve ever experienced.
To snatch defeat from the jaws of victory so many times makes one numb.
This team lost eight games when they had a lead with less than two minutes to go.
And the worst part is that I think they’ll bring Major back.
I find the number up people who think Major may or will be back shocking. Tintin, you should know better.

People, listen to me: HE IS GONE. It’s over. We are turning the page and looking forward to a new day.

Thread title says it best. I’ve been a fan since 99’, and I’ve never been this down. As sad as it is that our seniors are done, I was actually relieved to see the loss. Let there be no momentum, no excuse, no fight left, for which this coaching staff can hang its hopes on. The players attitudes and lack of drive speaks volumes, as do the losses and declining home attendance figures.

#3 CUSA Preseason Ranking, fallen to #11 CUSA Final Ranking
#1 in CUSA for points scored per game, yet only a 38.9% winning percentage in conference play
3 Road wins in conference play
1st round conference tourney loss.
All of this accomplished in the #16 ranked conference in D1

I have no proof, but I think Major & Co. are done, and we know by the end of day Friday. I think the staff and players know it. Judy hates to do it, but knows it has to be done. As much hell as we love to give her, and as loyal to her staff as she tends to be, she sees where this program is going, and she will not allow it to fall even further next year.

My excitement in 49er basketball will not return until our new coaching search has begun. Hopefully tomorrow is full of excitement in Ninerland. I like Major as a person, but he is not a D1 coach. I wish him the best, and hope his health improves. But this program needs a change. I think we’ll see it start by the weekend.

Go Niners.

We should all show up at the final Coaches Show and let Judy know we demand better. Oh wait…we did that last year and Judy lectured us on how prestigious the NIT was.

Do people still actually go to these? Do they even still go in? I haven’t heard anything about them this year.

From what HotRod said last week with Hibbs was final coaches show of the year. I guess they don’t like engaged upset fans showing up.

There must had been a ominous cloud hovering just below the celling of my study yesterday as I watched my Niners turned in another lackadaisical effort during their loss to MTSU. I didn’t realize it at the time but apparently my terrible mood caused my wife along with our pet dogs (including a 120lb Akita) seeking shelter in the back bedroom. Once again, I watched a team filled with extremely talented players, fumble the ball 19 times, play matador style defense (again, can we all say ole!), and even tried to recruit the referee as our 6th man on the court. The most humorous transgression I witnessed was Benkovic, a man who is slower than a paraplegic on a powered wheelchair, trying to drive the baseline before dribbling the ball off his own leg. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I wanted to wait until the end of the tournament before jumping on the coaching change bandwagon. I wanted to give the present coaching staff (Odom and his assistants, since I do not believe AM is coming back) one last chance to prove themselves. Well, I am on the bandwagon now! Let’s get rid of these bums and find someone who can actually coach and motivate. So what shall we do now? Should we start peppering the administration with letters or signed petitions? Any suggestions? I am game for anything…

I should know better, but Judy blew off the Observer last season. Anything is possible.

There is no way they would have another show with Judy taking on an angry mob. I was just pointing out that most of us wanted out of this relationship last year, when Major was healthy.

So true
