Best part of the season? Seeing Woods and Dorn in action.
Worst part? Pretty much the rest.
Embarrassing.
Our 2 senior leader with 10 turnovers when it counts the most…and 19 for the team…really!? Not Freshmen and not the first game of the year. Experienced players in game 32. It’s like we coach non-valuing of the basketball as a way to win???
So ready for these coaches to be gone.
Going to be hard to replace a senior who turned it over on 4 consecutive possessions.
I feel like I just took a giant dump…And,by the way…unless it was somehow in his agreement, which I cannot imagine…I think Major is a pussy for not even being at the Sr. Night festivities. He’s not too sick to take pic’s with tv crews last week or so…The guy’s done a shitty job and we cannot be rid of him quickly enough for me…Sorenson said it all.
Honestly… I put it at 50 / 50 that Major will be back next year
what do you guys really think will happen
I think the beginning of this topic title is very accurate in how most of us feel. Now just wait and see. I think Major is gone.
Best day of the season. The nightmare will soon be over.
I give it 42 hours tops.
The whole talk of Major not being at the sr night is a little ridiculous when no one knows why he wasn’t there. Regardless of the reason it does point more clearly to him not returning next year.

Agreed. PR move for the medical excuse to let him go.
I love Henry but he was not clutch when we needed him. On the game losing play, he drove into traffic and turned it over. Also missed a key point blank layup in the last minute. Our coaching is bad but when your point guard makes poor decisions in crunch time, it is hard to overcome that.
This has got to be one of the most disappointing teams in 49er history. For much of the 2nd half it looked like they were just going through the motions and playing with no urgency. Meanwhile, MTSU was diving all over the floor for loose balls and getting every rebound and we would jog back down the court. Wasn’t until the timeout before we started playing with any urgency.

No point in bashing them now. Good luck to them in the future. May next year’s team be more coachable. I think it will be.
Braxton’s body language at the end of the game on the bench sums up this season. he was slumped over, not watching, not reacting to plays. pitiful
Charlotte with 19 turnovers equals sloppy play, mostly by our two senior starters who combined for ten. MTSU with 4 turnovers equals poor defense by the Niners. Both add up to poor coaching.
It’s hard to believe this coaching staff returns.
30 seconds left…down by 2…pass the ball around the perimeter and then jack up a 3 from the top of the key with 14 seconds left? AND NEVER CALLING A TIMEOUT??? WTF!!!
That my friends sums up this coaching staff in the last 5 years…
I’m a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. I have been as long as I can remember.
That was the toughest single season I’ve ever experienced.
To snatch defeat from the jaws of victory so many times makes one numb.
This team lost eight games when they had a lead with less than two minutes to go.
And the worst part is that I think they’ll bring Major back.

Zero points, one assist, 3 turnovers, and not really great D. I think he’s got a bunch of potential, but he also will have to work hard to realize it (and hopefully a new coach to help him).
Dorn sure had a good game. I don’t really understand how Benkovic and Woods can both play, and yet not take a single 3 the entire game. Our ball movement against the trapping was molasses slow. A guy was always open on the wing, and we for some reason couldn’t get him the ball (a quick pass would’ve resulted in a wide open shot). The defense was decent at times, and the same-old same-old at times, particularly against the screens and giving open looks on drives to the basket. We really need someone to teach our guys how to play team defense, because it’s just not happening right now.
How much more empty can Halton get? If Major is back, you’ll hear a mouse fart in the upper level.
Such a terrible team. And like said above, our 2 best 3pt shooters with no attempts? Woods did have chances but his guy was within 6 feet of him.
I enjoyed watching Thorne and Dorn, on offense anyways.

If Major comes back, they’ll be able to close the curtain around upper level during the men’s games too. At least it won’t look so empty!
