Is there any talk of the AD losing her job? This is the most embarassing search I can remember. At least NCSU was embarassed by some elite coaches, same with SJU this year…nobody wants the UNCW job, it is pretty sad.

One of my best friends is a UNCW alum and currently a JV coach in NY. I’ve told him repeatedly to submit his resume.

CMack, she has one more year on her contract, which I would almost be certain won’t be renewed. In addition to the men’s opening, the women’s basketball coach has been without a contract since March 31 and the AD has met only briefly several times with her.

Former assistants and players have been mentioned by the fans but she seems to ignore that. Also, I’m not sure they (or any coach, lol) want the job right now. Everyone knows it is a mess.

They had so much fun trying to find a Men’s coach that this past weekend, UNCW opted not to resign their women’s basketball coach. :))

This AD is just begging to be let go. Either that or she thinks she can redeem herself at the expense of the women’s coach. I will grant that she didn’t have a winning record, but after the recent, nationally ridiculed, debacle of a search, I would try and stay out of the spotlight for a while.

Very weird.
