Is HS region 2nd team good for the type of players we need to take us to top 100 level? I dont know what other players were so serious question. I suppose I should look back at what Caldwell and Brice were. Guess depends on location, how good the first teamers were and what colleges they went to.

Seniors: One going to Georgia Tech, One going to VCU, One going to Robert Morris A
Top ranked Junior with multiple high level D1 offers
Top Ranked Sophmore who is a national prospect and player of the year for NC this year.

I will take it and that kid going to Robert Morris is a better player than Robert Morris level IMO. He is a bit of a knucklehead it seems from the January incident.

The first team in N.C. this year was STOUT to say the least…Jackson was a steal in my books …they boy can flat out shoot … from the videos I seen his defense isn’t up to par but with the right coaching he will be averaging 15 to 20 points by his junior season

at the very least, i expect from day 1, he is a sizable upgrade over bertram. plus he’s 6’6", long and athletic. def needs to get stronger and probably work on his handles and defeense but i think those things can be fixed.

Exactly… once he gets that college weight on him I expect good things from him . Was so happy when he didn’t choose Georgia

out of curiousity, have you seen him play in person?

Yes! When they played concord cannon (won) and when they played concord first assembly (only loss of Davidson day season)… Threadgill has like 3 prolific dunks in that cannon game that had me like ( this kid can drive in the lane and create too.!) but his defense in my eyes could use a little tweaking … handles are ok … when they played CFA he Played ok … full court press got to Davidson day .

so you expect him to score more than 7 points this seeason?

I can see that… he is def getting minutes this season cause he is tall and lengthy … but I was thinking like 15 min a game … 5-10 ppg … he has to get his weight up first… the kid is skinny… freshman season I think he will only be a 3 point threat until he can gain weight and be more physical (didn’t want to bang in the CFA game … they had 2 6’9 players in check traiore (Youngstown st) and garret hein ( furman) . They were physical with Threadgill and Huntley (app st) every time they got in the lane and it seemed like they didn’t want to match it. Disappointed in that game but was ecstatic with the cannon game . Need I remind you that CJ Huntley n Threadgill aren’t that big poundage wise … that’s why they lost that game and the only game of the season they lost. He has to be more physical and gain his first year.

if he scors anywhere close to 10ppg as a freshman, id consider that a big win. the rest of your analysis is what i expected. ive seen him at charlotte games and he is skinny but that doesnt worry me bc we can always put the weight on and he has the frame ot do it. his size and length are exciting and the kid seems to have intensity from his videos.

I agree… just wanted to state my opinion . Huge win if he is a 10ppg scorer first season

your opinion is greatly appreciated. i always enjoy getting insight from people who have seen these guys play in person. as of right now, my expectations for garcia are the highest of the incoming guys. no idea what to expect from CSC.

clt is curious why he was playing against chick fil a

We are on the same page… I don’t think anyone knows what to expect from CSC…I’m not affiliated with inside sources but I hope he is fully healthy from his back . I’m so excited about next season man .

i overheard his dad talking to phaler after a gmae(i assume it was his dad) stating that CSC has put on 15lbs(of muscle it sounded).

Those cows are not great competition but probably good enough to get him ready for CUSA.

I can agree… but he has to put on some pounds …He def ready for CUSA…but to be a 20 per game scorer (which he is more than capable of) he has to put on more pounds like CSC did (via ninerfan55) and we will be in the game ! I see us competing for CUSSA title next year . We can go 8-9 deep which is perfect… if we can get a quality big man we will be trouble for ANYBODY

I’m just pleased with Sanchez’s recruiting all-around. While not the highest bar, last year’s class (#71) and this year’s class (#73 - so far), are the two best classes we’ve signed since 2012 (#67), per 247 sports. They’re evaluated about equally with the 2011 (#70) class of P. Henry, Thorne, TWill, EVN, and Ivankovic.
