As weird as it sounds, I think this is probably a very profitable business. The Japanese have whole ‘restaurants’ where all you do is order from vending machines. With as much as they are used over there, I can see them very popular here in populous downtown/business districts.
America needs to step its up its vending machine game. How can we expect to compete on the worlds stage unless we can offer people chicken noodle soup out of a vending machine?

I have actually discussed with someone is one of my student orgs trying to get 49er gear set up in one of these machines and place it somewhere. On campus wouldn’t work because of the competition clauses with Barnes and Noble. It would have to be off campus somewhere, preferably downtown.
At truck stop rest rooms you can get flavored or ribbed condoms in a machine. :))
