2012 SG that played at Waddell, he’s going to spend his Senior year at Olympic. Winthrop, High Point, Gardner-Webb and App State have offered. Rivals says Charlotte & VCU are close to following and he should be visiting us this week.
Strengths:He's a versatile wing player with nice size for a potential mid-level player. When he's at his best, he's scoring the basketball and made strides in the secnod half of his high school career. He's a natural scoring threat and that's why picking the appropriate level is key for him. Likes the floaters and is comfortable going from different spots on the floor. Serviceable as a play maker off the dribble.
Weaknesse: Must improve his ball handling to continue his ascension on the wing. Gives an honest try on defense. Deep jumper can improve.
Bottom Line: He’s a good college prospect with potential mid-level ability. He’s going to make someone happy because he’s got a player’s DNA. Plus, he’s an excellent student and first-rate competitor.
Committed to Jacksonville in early Feb. Had heavy interest from Clemson and VT. His team, Harding, won the conference championship beating previously undefeated Olympic. Kid is a heck of a player, averaging about 25ppg. Hope we didn’t miss out.
Transferring out from Jacksonville, scored 16.6 per game while grabbing 4.5rebs and dishing out 2.6 assists.
Not sure we’ll be in the market with all the guards/wings we have.
I saw him play in person twice this year. Went ham for 29 points in UNF’s gym…there was absolutely no stopping him that night. Next time against UNF, he was battling an injury and only played limited minutes, didn’t look as good. The first game he looked like the real deal; all of his points were hard-earned, too. I’d take him here, but like 2k said, I’m not sure he’s the player we really need or where his minutes would come from.
Defensive minded rim protector…we should have had DeSean Murray from Northside on our radar !
Excuses I heard were "he’s too small for his position at 6’5"
The kid is a beast on the boards and is fearless…but he slid out of Charlotte the the powerhouse down South…Presbyterian College.
Hopefully they’ll give Rajon Tucker a little consideration.

You mean the zero star prospect? Well if the short argument wasn’t doing it for you, how about the “He’s not that good” one?

I trust our staffs ability to evaluate talent, recruiting Demery and Woods, they would have seen Murray plenty of times.
