Jeff Jones - 2007 SG

i wish jason jordan or tim would do more small blurbs about things like this. I mean, i have to read about dorenzo hudson visiting UNC-R and I really don’t even care. Plus i want Maryland to know

Jeff Jones will be visiting Charlotte this weekend! Welcome to the Queen City Jeff!!
Yippee!

Its Mostly Sunny on Friday and Sunday. The campus should be looking beautiful. Cross your fingers, this is big.
I feel we are his leader already. JJ, Sanchez, Harmon, Bell. Then possibly a big timer in Beasley or Hickson would be a top 25 class IMO.
I would think if we landed Beasley, Jones, Harmon, and one other top 100 player, we’d be a top 15 class at the very least.

I believe you are correct, especially the part about “at the very least”. I doubt over a handful of schools have a recruiting class that good. That could be top 10 or better.

I guess this would be an unoffical visit, right? They should be done laying all the sod in front of Woodward by then. Should be looking fantastic on campus with all the rain.

I was just there 2 days ago. Campus has never looked worse actually. Crap was all over the sidewalks from the storms and the dirt in front of Woodward was washed all down over the sidewalks. They haven’t finished planting all the trees/bushes and there is no grass down. Hopefully they got the sidewalks cleaned, but I seriously doubt they laid that much sod in two days, especially with it raining all day yesterday.

Halton arena, Athletes-only training/ academic center, and the BASKETBALL-only practice court is all he needs to see!!! Freedom to shoot and be the go-to guy, long list of long range bombers, and a chance to win a lot of games!!! Those are the selling points. (It sure would be nice to have a nice front entrance, though)

A hopping Univ area, lots of restaurants, stores, uptown Charlotte, NBA team, great weather are also great selling points.

I have to admit, I am pretty amazed that top shooting guards don’t push each other out of the way so they could play here. A Lutz-coached shooting guard is simply going to put up ridiculous offensive stats and rack up some wins at a very high level.

If it’s dry tomorrow, they’ll get most of the remaining sod laid. They’re 25% done in front of Woodward. By the time guys are making official visits for MM, they’re going to be very impressed with the campus, save the stupid hill in front of the parking deck.

You mean Mud Mountain? Hey, I happen to think it’s a nice addition:

I see vast potential for intramural sports there… Downhill dirt-skiing, king of the hill competitions (team-based and individual contests), student 4X4 challenge, mud-rappelling, etc.

ID, I got this info from Jason Jordan at NR. You all need to sign up over at NinerReport and see what youre missing. A ton of good info gets posted in “the Pick” over there that blows away anything that pops up over here.

I just meant in an article not in a message board. If its in an article all teams that are linked to jeff jones see the article on the side, i.e. robbie hummel visiting IU like we see.

I have to admit I didn’t think I’d be a long term subscriber over there but I’m sold on it now. For less than fifty cent per day I’ll take it and buy the Observer when something about the Niner’s is in it.

You very well could meet him Picasso’s, this weekend

do players on visits regularly visit picasso’s?

They take them to Outback a lot. Not sure about Picassos but would be the ideal place.

Or the O’Charley’s who are Niner friendly across from campus.

I figured baby dolls would be a great place for recruits

they are laying sod?? hell yeah!

Any red carpet?
