He is a 5’10 PG from Garinger and his top 3 schools are two schools that have offered so far…App. St., G’Tech and Charlotte. He’s also hearing from Clemson, DePaul, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Stanford.
From a website…
Transferred to Providence Day private school in Charlotte. Interest includes Appalachian State, Charlotte, Georgia Tech, DePaul, Clemson, Stanford, UCLA and Oklahoma State. So far App. State and Charlotte have offeredGoode averaged 20 points, 10 assists and eight steals a game.

Did any one hear about him transferring to Providence Day. He averaged 8 steals a game, wow- is this right???
Yeah the 8 steals per game is correct. The guy is crazy quick. I would hate to have him guarding me thats for damn sure.

Why is it everytime I check the recruiting board I see another scholie offered to a PG?? Where are the big men??
Where are the big men??
The amount of big men with skills suitable for major D1 ball are less than the amount of guards with D1 skills. Most of those big men with skills suitable for major D1 ball wind up in the pros these days.
Also, don’t forget, with our coaching staff they probably have at least 2 big guys nailed down in the JC ranks who will be coming.
Goode now at Providence Day and reclassified as a Junior. He’s now in the class of 2006, which could make it more likely we would sign him. He would only have 2 years behind Goldwire/Lewis.
Observer: Goode at Providence Day
Providence Day coach David Carrier said Goode has received interest from N.C. State, Miami, Charlotte, Virginia Commonwealth and “nearly every Southern Conference school.”
Beat me to it, Lefty!

New story on Goode.
Goode Choice for Providence Day
I read “wants to play in the ACC” when he says he wants “play at the highest level.” Maybe that’s just me.
Probably true, but never ever expect Langston to do anything to report or influence a recruit towards Charlotte. He is very pro-ACC & anti-Niners.
Nice picture of Mr. Goode:
You know, I believe the knock on Chris Paul in high school was that he was too small… Hmmm. B)

Actually that was a story from last week (linked above). Here’s a new one that was included in the impressive Prep preview:
From the 11/10 story, I think this sums it up:
Providence Day coach David Carrier said Goode has received interest from N.C. State, Miami, Charlotte, Virginia Commonwealth and “nearly every Southern Conference school.”
He’s trying to do better than the SoCon.
Jeremy is in fact a junior (contrary to recruiting sites), so he is in the class of 2006 versus 2005.
Here is are a few recent articles on him from the Observer. I believe we have offered him a scholarship. He is also receiving interest from: N.C. State, Miami, Charlotte, Virginia Commonwealth and "nearly every Southern Conference school.
Jeremy Goode - Observer article on 11/16/04
From that picture, he’s no Chris Paul. He’s Mugsy Bogues.
Goode scored 44 Tuesday night in an OT loss.

Nice local PG talent.
My boss at work told me about a Lutz sighting at Providence Day vs. Charlotte Latin game. Says this guy is crazy quick.
Goode had 26 points 10 steals and grabbed final game clenching rebound.
From today’s Observer story from our buddy, Langston:
“And Goode, being scouted at the game by Charlotte coach Bobby Lutz, had 26 points, 10 steals, eight rebounds and five assists.”
Goode leads Providence Day - Feb 2, 05
You think Bobby is looking for a PG of the future??? We have about 4 on the radar. Goode is small but sounds like an excellent player.
Edit: Hooligan beat me to it. I thought you may be posting it when I saw you in here.
