2010 four-star prospect Jerian Grant are getting heavy interest from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami, Maryland, Clemson and North Carolina State according to DeMatha head coach Mike Jones.

DeMatha’s line up of guards is one of the best in the nation. Texas A&M signee Naji Hibbert, Tennessee commitment Josh Selby and 2010 Rivals150 prospects Victor Oladipo and Jerian Grant man the wings. Class of 2011 guard Quin Cook is also a prospect to watch for the future.
The power duo of Jerian Grant and Victor Oladipo, both of DeMatha Catholic, were too much to handle on Thursday morning.
Both are high-major guards and both are eerily similar to each other in skill set. Grant said Virginia Tech, George Mason, Providence and Oklahoma have offered.

Jerian Grant, SG, Triple Threat
TOC stats: 15.7 points per game (41st in the 16U division)
He and fellow 2010 top performer Victor Olidipo shined for Triple Threat all the way to the title game. Grant, the son of former NBA player Harvey Grant and younger brother of Clemson forward Jerai Grant, was great on the wing for the 16U runners up.
Grant was strong to the basket, possessed a solid ball-handling attack and played aggressive on both ends of the floor. He seemed to get better as the event rolled on. It wouldn’t come as a big surprise to see Grant sign with a high-major just like his big brother.
I hope so. Seems like Jerian, from what I’ve read could help us out at the 2 and 3. It’ll be interesting to see how things shape out here. Top 60 kid, would be nice to grab someone from this range, it’s been a while!
I for some reason thought both Horace and Harvey played for Clemson.
You were correct. Harvey played for Clemson his freshman season, but wound up at Oklahoma after attending Independence CC for his sophomore season.
The Grants had been lifelong teammates and had gone to Clemson together as freshmen. Things hadn’t worked out there for Harvey, who left in 1985 while Horace stayed on.
We are in his top 5 according to him. He visited us “unofficially” this summer and says he probably doesn’t need an official; hopefully we still get one.
This guy could be a SG/SF for us. I think the new direction of recruits and what we need are players that can penetrate the lanes. Guyn’s the kind of guy that wants to work hard and go against the best everyday

I'm surprised to see that Rivals says we have offered. I thought surely after Guyn's solid verbal, we'd be after a SF or big man pretty hard.
He does not care if you get Air Jordan! Ge’lawn is coming to play with or against the best of the best! The more great players at Charlotte the better. Ge’lawn can play the 1 or 2 he just wants to play right away. That why he picked Charlotte. He has had two offers from SEC schools since his commitment to Charlotte in June. One in July and one in August. He turn them both down! Will not say the schools.
apparently he has scheduled visits to notre dame, virginia and depaul. i cannot imagine losing out on a kid like this to depaul. virginia worries me because they are acc and notre dame worries me because his teammate victor oladipo is also high on notre dame. i wonder what he meant by he doesnt need an official visit here.

Charlotte is just as high if not higher on the list for Oladipo.

im not questioning this but according to whom? also, if we are lucky enough to have a good shot at both guys i wonder who the coaching staff will go after harder. my guess is grant but i might be biased because he is ranked higher.
Jerian Grant, a 6-4 shooting guard from DeMatha (Md.)
