Initially when radio/tv and coaches were getting moved into the new tower and they were going to convert the whole thing into more boxes. At this point I’m not sure what the plan is. Either way it’s staying put and will give Jerry’s place a pretty modern feel with multiple levels of glass and box seating.

Right—-but my point was that the structure is NOT (and was never planned to) going away.
Looking forward to having seats in the shade this fall!

It’s going to feel tremendously larger even though we’re only getting 3k seats.

I hope we come close to filling it up. Winning would certainly go a long way to assure higher attendance.

As long as we start winning I think we can fill it up. Another 1–11 season and it might be abandonded like the Lambert days.
Does anyone know how we’re looking on season ticket sales?

Yes thank you for the pictures, can someone give an update what to expect this fall? Is the stadium still going to be tore up or are they doing it in sections?
I am not an expert, but my understanding is the stadium will basically be dried in with outside structure up by the time the season starts and the inside part of the expansion will be completed by start of 27 season.

Anyone have an in person assessment of the stadium expansion from the open practice today?
I drove by it this morning since I was in the area. It’s going to make the stadium feel quite a bit bigger. It’s taller than it looks in the photo on twitter.

Drove by this afternoon. Upper deck will provide earlier shade for my seats. In addition, it will give the stadium a look a little better than a Texas high school would have.

They were busting up the concrete on the opposite side of the press boxes. Should be soon working on the support for the seats. It is a nice looking plan. I think most will be pleased with the addition.
