More pictures have been added. Still can’t figure out why one side has a covered lounge area and the other does not.

Yes they went 1-11 and are still expanding the stadium. What kind of moron thinks you can call off a huge project like this because of a bad season. The money was donated for this project so you can’t change directions and use it for something else.

Exactly. Plus, regardless of the record, you have to expand

If you wait to expand until after you start winning, it will be too late to accept the bandwagon rush

Hi everyone, new here. My son is a freshman at Charlotte and I didn’t get to attend any games this past season but looking to get season tickets this the upcoming season. I’m an NC State guy but I only live 40 minutes or so from the stadium so figured it’d be good to support the kid’s school, donate a little and enjoy some football.

Are there sections that’s better or more desired I should be looking at? At State if you got the side opposite the press box you were basically baking in the sun the entire time for a day game but could get shade on the other side. Like I said, never been to a game at Charlotte so no idea how the sun impacts it so just curious.

The additions look cool though and the team seems to be coming together. Do like the HC and think he’ll get his brand of football more in place this season than last year.

Thanks!

Welcome WolfinCLT, glad to have you!! Seats on the press box side will help with the sun. The new stands will probably help also, depending on the state of completion this Fall.

Make sure you get a parking pass as well. Yellow is good if you want to go to the book store and student union. There are other good options as well. Search the football parking page on the athletic website.

Just a guess because the expansion isn’t complete yet but 102-106 should have shade for the midafternoon games. Nothing will save you from the noon sun. And the field is very hot so just assume you’re going to sweat fo 4 hours.

Yep, parking passes would be my next question so thanks for the heads up on Yellow. Looks like if I want to tailgate I’d need to go at a minimum to the Purple Rooftop? That would be the cost of the parking pass + $149 AGC? Will be wild my parking pass costs more than my season tickets although I may be looking at it wrong. lol It’s great the lots open 8 hours before a game though!

My crew in on purple rooftop, we have a great time and it’s the best price for a good tailgating option. Only flaw is that my truck does not fit in west deck.

The CRI Deck is another option. You can tailgate anywhere and for an extra cost, park on the roof and grill/cook.

If you have anyone you know that already tailgates, the orange deck is a good option as well

I think the CRI Deck is the Orange parking area.

I’ve got a question for you guys. Until two years ago, we had PSL’s in row 20, section 104, right in front of the press box. The top three rows of seats appear to be gone from the photos. Doesn’t affect me now, but has anyone heard how they are handling those seats that are not there anymore? People sitting there have invested a lot of money. Are they offering equal seats or better seats elsewhere???

The top row of these sections are the only ones gone permanently. They were moved. We were two down and are now the top row. Looks worse now because a few rows have been temporarily removed for the ledge seating to be constructed.

Hmmmm. My row 104/20. I haven’t heard anything about having to move.
