JJ hits big time...ESPN.com

Main NBA page at ESPN.com. He said he tried to work the Eddie Basden - West connection in but they said, no. Not bad for a kid just out of UNC Charlotte.

Btw, Jason if you’re reading this, did you graduate this past May or still finishing up? What are your plans with the season approaching?

hell yeah

 congrats Jason

well written article. Good job!

Hey thanks guys, I appreciate all of the continued support. I really pushed for the Eddie B reference but to no avail…

To answer your question I did graduate this past May and my plans with the season approaching are HUGE. I’m looking to get a few more people to contribute to the site (getting interns from UNCC fingers crossed).

I’m planning on having the postgame transcript after every home game and some away games. Player features, interviews with Coach, more and more diaries, the inside dish, pics and continued recruiting coverage.

In the past I’ve always wanted to do these things but haven’t really had the resources. Hopefully with these interns the resources will be available, and I also want to market the site a lot more.

I think getting the word out is a priority around the Charlotte campus and community.

NinerReport’s just cranking up.

Any luck in staying on with ESPN.com?

Well I’m going to be free lancing for ESPN the Mag moreso than ESPN.com, from here on out, already getting assignments now, one of which includes a certain 7-footer from Australia???

We’ll see how that goes…

Mostly ACC things though since I’m likely going to be in that region.
