JMU Postgame

Price has got to land some big men and teach these guys to buy into playing Defense!!

Zero punches thrown = no fight.

App is 2-4, 216 RPI, and we struggled.

ECU is 6-2 but with a schedule more lame than ours, and a 212 RPI, and we struggled.

Newberry is Div II and we struggled.

We struggled with Elon too, but at least their RPI is 78.

These are our wins! We lost to USC frickin’ Upstate. I hate to see what happens to us when we play Maryland and Florida.
If we can go 2-2 over our next four I’ll be happy.
Ditto.

Benas played 3 minutes. I’ve seen the guy play and he isn’t terrible. Does he show up for practice late every day or something? Why doesn’t Price play him a little more considering our lack of size? JMU beat us on the boards 41-32.

While he was in he got scored on pretty consistently, didn’t rebound, and was out of position constantly on the offensive end.

Defensively he likes to rush out to the shooter on the perimeter instead of staying inside to get the rebound. Now a seven footer coming at me with his arms raised would affect my shot, but come on Benas, you have one job to do. Stay in the paint.

clt says price is a size king.

Has anyone else noticed that on the stat boards (corners display boards on the white walls) they list Garvin as #00? Numbers are hard…

I think he is 0. Last night he had to change into 20 because he had some blood on his jersey. Unless I’m missing your point, in which case numbers are hard and carry on.

We had a 31-8 run over 15 minute stretch. That’s what we wanted to see.
I just don’t think we have more than 25 minutes of good basketball in us.

Transferrity wasn’t even the best point guard on our team that season.

LOL - better days, sadly - and I thought we thought we were bad then. Harris was such a pleasant surprise at the point, and he bleeds Niner green also.
