Last night there was a couple of clips of Jobey trying out for the Mini-camp that the bobcats will be holding soon… here’s an excerpt from the Observer:

Unfortunately, he didn’t make it…
I saw the clips last night as well and the one they played had Jobey trying to go up for a dunk off the dribble. He got “broke” pretty hard on the jam though but the effort was certainly there. Unfortunately, the defense is not and that will keep him out of the NBA in my opinion.
Apparently, there were over 40 “free agents” trying for 4 spots in this week’s mini-camp. No mention of how Jobey did as far as numbers. The bobcats need a PG and big guys who can defend. They took that type of player.
When I talked to Coach Lutz back in early May, he said Jobey and his wife bought a townhouse in Harrisburg. I assume he’ll go back overseas if none of the NBA stuff looks promising.
Any word on the other guys? Demon, Butter? I know Clemmons signed a deal with Luxemburg in Germany.
Sean Colson should try out for PG for the Bobcats.
