Josh attends Victory Christian and is a late bloomer. Is a really good athlete that can get up and down the floor. At 6’7" can play on the wing. Is a decent shooter and slasher.
Possible recruited walk-on, but if keeps improving could get interesting.
i love the idea of the recruited walk on. a kid who wants to play high major d1 as opposed to d2 or a lower level d1. from what i have read this kid has talent but probably not good enough to be a scholarship player. have you heard that it is a possibility of him walking on or are you just throwing it out there?
I don’t think he would walk on here. His stock cont. to rise. Already has div. one offer and could end at a mid major program and do well (i.e Titus Robinson out of East Meck)

VMI, Presbyterian, Maryland Eastern Shore, N.C. Central[/quote] Thanks, had a brainfart there. Looks like it could come down to him either wanting to play ball right away and go to a low D1 school, or possibly come here and earn his way one the court.
He is waaaay more athletic than Sirin. We need help at the 3 after Dew and Anjuan are done…heck we need a player that can shoot from the 3 spot right now…that’s what we thought Coleman was going to be.
If Clyburn keeps improving it will get more interesting. We need a 3 for next year that is athletic, can defend, and knock down a jumper.

Barnett will get alot of 3 mins next yr
I will bet you alot of beer or diet coke at Picassos this guy is not on our radar.
who knows maybe he is a very late bloomer, but signing day is 2 months away and I wager heavily he is not on the list for the final 2 slots
Not sure that I agree with you on Barnett,Metro. We’ll still have Dew and Wilderness at the 3,and Bobby really hasn’t shown much confidence in Barnett at all this year.Sounds like Bobby is more confident in Sirin longterm at the 2.
I’m one of those who hasn’t really understood why Barnett hasn’t been given some of Ian’s minutes, but that’s neither here-nor-there.He just seems like a man without a position in Bobby’s lineup.

Barnett is not a 2. He came here as that, but has grown too much.
either way, forget about this Clyburn kid. He has 5 offers from low majors according to his dad. We don’t compete against Eastern Kentucky and UMBC nor VMI for talent.
