just a hunch -- Parrish & Lutz are not close friends
Unlike Lutz, Marlin is a man whose career is going up, and he’s a desired commodity
Parrish is an idiot. How can the man USA offered first NOT be a desired commodity, at least to USA?

Parrish is an idiot. Any good basketball mind in the nation will tell you that Lutz is a popular coach that works hard. If Lutz ever did get fired from here, there would be plenty of offers to open up for him. That is also why I feel that Lutz needs an extension.

guys guys - hes just trying to make him feel better after rejection…

I can’t stand to watch Parrish and his stupid videos about the upcoming or past NCAA Tournaments on cbssportsline.com. He’s a horrible speaker.

You’ve got to admit that when a coach is considering a move from the #10 conference to one ranked #21, as well as doesn’t even get consideration for the worst program in the Big East even AFTER he contacts said program, that Parrish has a point.

BTW, Parrish is what he is – sorta like the Tom Sorensen of Sportsline.com, with the exception that he actually knows something about college hoops beyond the ACC!

Good point. I'm sure Catawba and Queens would love to have Lutz.

Exactly.

My alma mater wouldn’t want him. We hire coaches on the way up. All 3 previous coaches are working in D1 now.
