Kelvin Amayo, 2010, NIA Prep: Amayo is a strong andpowerful guard who can get to the basket on his defender and isaggressive finishing at the basket. He also gets to the free-throw lineon numerous occasions due to his ability to get to the rim. Amayo hasdecent vision and can create open shots for his teammates whenpenetrating. He did not show an overly consistent jumper, but he didnot need to most of the time due to his driving ability. Amayo alsoforced several turnovers defensively, helping NIA Prep back into thegame against Brewster Academy. If NIA Prep continues to play like it did against Brewster, Amayo’srecruitment is sure to pick up. Right now, he has offers from WesternKentucky, Delaware and Charlotte, with interest from Memphis, Louisville, Tennessee and Maryland.

this mentions that we offered, but it’s dated, so who knows how accurate this is now.

Can he shoot?
Don’t think he’s played a second there.

Actually he’s played 3 games for them. He’s now lost a year to prop and will lose a year to residency in addition to the semester of basketball played. Thinking he has 2.5 years remaining at this point (5 in 4 rule).
