Kelvin wins again - an early first round knockout - to improve to 8-0. according to bradcooney.com, Roy Jones Jr. was in attendence and lending his support for Price.
Loving the color of his trunks.
I mistakenly said in the shoutbox that KP was fighting Delontay Wilder, a superb US heavyweight prospect (11-0, 11KOs, Bronze Medalist). While they were both promoted as participating in the Main Event, there was actually two co-Main Events & they didnât actually face each other. A future Price-Wilder fight would be a helluva matchup and could be a logical future possibility, tho. And, yes, Kelvin Price wears the best looking trunks in boxing

There may be a Price - Wilder fight in the future. Listen here: http://www.8countnews.com/news/129
I talked to Mark Colone who keeps in touch with Kelvin regularly. He talked to him the other day. KP is indeed in a âverbal warâ with Deontay Wilder. He has dodged KP twice. Could be a big fight coming!

Is KP wearing basketball shoes in that fight?
Itâs no different than watching two guys throw a few punches then tie each other up where the ref has to constantly separate them. Boring.
The UFC is awesome, especially if you watch some of the top guys. Youâll have your boring matches but overall itâs a quality product. You donât see the corruption like you do in boxing and Dana White isnât afraid to fire someone just because they are a star.

I do wish UFC would install some of the Pride Fighting ideas. Points deducted for boring fights, stand fighters up much quicker if theyâre on the ground too long. UFC is probably the truer form of mixed martial arts. But I donât care. I just want to see an exciting fight. StPierre is perhaps the best all around in UFC, yet his fights are terribly boring since heâs such a good wrestler.
Youtube vid of an interview w/Kelvin: Heavyweight prospect Kelvin Price on boxing and basketball Alludes to his frustrations with not fighting stiffer competition and having his fights ending early. Eager for a âDeontay Wilderâ level of opponent. Also very briefly mentions Conference USA.
Next fight is in Laredo, Texas on April 8th. Exciting lineup of fighters and I believe the main events will be broadcast on Showtime. Kelvin fights Ija Flapping Eagle, a 266lb hard throwing brawler who can dish as well as take. Flapping Eagleâs style, however, causes him to become fatigued and eventually punch himself out. As a result, it could be the longer fight that Kelvin is looking for.
Flapping Eagle?

Sounds like the St. Joeâs Flapping Hawk. I hope KP beats him down. Anyone have Showtime?
For a guy that wants to be a contendor KP has some long layoffs between fights. He needs to build that record up if he wants some recognition and better fights.
Rumor has it that KP won. Canât find any info though.
kelvin should have won. flapping eagle was like 3-1-1. :
Possibly the most obscure bout ever. Still looking for info.
clt says kp won.
Fan of St. Joeâs?
Still cant find anything, but according to KPâs facebook page:

Still no articles, but they updated Kelvin Priceâs boxing profile: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=398870&cat=boxer
From the judgesâ scorecards, I can come to the conclusion that Kelvin unanimously won each of the 6 rounds by a 10-9 score
referee: Rafael Ramos | judge: Jennie Cardenas 60-54 | judge: Perry Hillin 60-54 | judge: Anthony Townsend 60-54
