Tearing down all of the older buildings erodes the connection with the past and the unique characteristics of campus. If my daughter ends up going to UNC Charlotte I’ll walk her through campus and have to say “much of the campus I experienced isn’t here anymore.”

Someone with more time than me should FOIA for emails and documents pertaining to the Kennedy Building facade and expose the BS. All leadership has been neutered. I miss EK Fretwell.
I wouldn’t mind it as much if they really were tearing Kennedy down and putting in a new and taller building.
The school is growing. They need to grow and replacing the old buildings would help a lot.

I know that the Friday building is too small and they are looking to built a new larger one for the business school
