A trial date has not yet been set.

Uh oh. This whole mess of the UNC athletics could make a career for an enterprising investigative journalist. The elaborate cover-up alone would be interesting to unravel I’d think.
Well of course a felon has ties to UNC-CH. Everyone knows the people with morals associate with UNCC.
UNC-CH fans are stupid. Who rents a car for 72 days leading to a $5,700 bill? He could have bought a damn car for that.

I initially thought the same thing. But apparently Thomas was paying for the rentals with cash to eliminate any paper trail. Word among the Pack Pride circles is that he was receiving payments for reinbursement under the table from some NC dental organization (read NC School of Dentristry, Chapel Hill slush fund). Apparently That’s how you get star athletes into new sports cars without leaving a paper trail, if this is ever verified.

You’d think the NC School of Dentisrty would focus on important things, like tooth decay in poor people who can’t afford dentists.

Just goes to show what an idiot he is. He has all kinds of problems right now. Best idea is to lay low and out of the public eye. Instead hey lets go to the beach and do something I shouldnt be doing. Even though what he was doing wasn’t that bad, just a bad idea to be partaking given his current situation.
