Rising sophomore LA Tech basketball player Xavian Stapleton has requested to be released from his scholarship following Michael White’s departure to Florida. Bulldog AD Tommy McClelland has placed a restriction of 55 schools that Stapleton will not be allowed to transfer to. In addition to C-USA, restrictions include any team on LA Tech’s 2015-16 OOC sked, any D-I school in the states of Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, and, of course, one particular school in Florida! :

This is Juvenile bull shit that gets you nothing but hurts you down the road. Will be used in recruiting against them. Why do to a school that treats players like this.
