This weekend 45 finalists from around the country are on campus to interview for the 15 initial Levine Scholarships. Forgive me for bragging, but my nephew is one of them. I had no idea when this program was announced that he would apply or be interested in coming to Charlotte but I am pretty proud of him for getting to the finals. I am not sure that I would even be accepted into the school now, so it is hard to imagine we could be related. Whether he gets one of the slots or not, I think that this program is going to be one of the most significant things to happen to our school in years.
