The latest line in Vegas is Saint Josephs -2
I was expecting a push but -2 seems about right with Ian out and Coley a little banged up. That’s a tough line to play though if you do so without bias.
-1 on both sites I looked at.
just waiting on one of these greenhorns to have a “line” explained to them

:lmao:, I knew I had to jump on that one first.
EDIT, wow thanks to this thread I just remembered I hadn’t made my pick on the A10 board for the Lock of the Day contest.

Gill,
you have a degree…you are on our side now
The way the St. Joe’s fans have been yappin’…you would think they have already won the game!
St. Joe’s may not exactly be the easiest opponent we’ll face - but they still have to come to our house.
Ha ha, I agree with ya Metro, there always seems to be atleast one person who doesnt know!
I got fat on the Clemson line last week. +17. I wish they were all like that.

on the other hand, their starting pg Tasheed Carr is out, so they’re a little thin at guard with Rivera’s first game back. I expect Harris will be bringing a lot of pressure when they bring the ball up. Wonder if we play zone on them if Coley is still hurting. I hope not, Calathes and/or Ferguson will probably have career days.
Something else to add to the NinerNation FAQ - how to read spreads!
I’m actually surprised we are not favored 2 after the last two wins, but I guess the injuries are big question marks.

Lines aren’t really set just because a team won a couple games. Trends do play a role but more so with football than basketball and encompassing more than 2 games. Given what we know, I think the line is set pretty accurately but I think it may end up at a pick 'em or even swing in our favor before the books close. I’d probably lay the points if I had to lean.

spoken like a true gambler
I’m almost positive that everytime we’ve been given points whether it be at Bobcats or Halton (can’t really remember Maryland but I think we were actually favored) we have covered, and most importantly won.
I’m not going to hesitate to lay a few bucks on us tomorrow.

That's a tough line to play though if you do so without bias.I don't think a lot of people realize how important Ian is to this team, especially if Leemire is in foul trouble or injured. Phaler or Gerrity at the 2G for extended minutes won't flush.
Is it a done deal Ian isn’t playing? Update on Coley?
