Who else could possibly deserve it? Penders at Houston? maybe. Pitino’s year with UL was expected. You could make a good case for Dave Leitao (sp?) at DePaul, too, but I think Bobby should get it going away! Lots of attention now on the Conference and the Player of the Year race; I just think Coach should get some attention too!
I think if we win Thursday night he gets it without a doubt.
I think it should go to Bobby regardless of Thursday but if we win these last two, he should be a shoe in. Would be a nice way to close out, with Eddie as POY and Bobby as COY. Throw in the regular season title for kicks and we’ll be leaving C-USA with a bang.
Not sure who “votes” for COY but I seem to recall us being picked by the coaches or sportswriters to finish 6th in the standings.
I think regardless of where we place, Lutz has already wrapped up Coach of the Year.
Lutz should have it.
Of course, there is probably a thread similar to this on the memphis-state board stating that “calimari” should get it.

and hopefully we win conference, all in all that is a hell of a way to exit this conference.
