Lutz Live gets a new home
Bumped for two reasons:

First, the season opening tip-off party is next Wednesday. From the AD’s release: The first official function with Wild Wing CafĂ© is a 49ers Hoops Tip-Off Party, Wednesday, November 4th from 7-8 p.m. The 2009-10 season begins the following evening with an exhibition game against Johnson C. Smith at Halton Arena.

Second, 49erFanatics.com has signed on as a proud corporate sponsor of Bobby Lutz Live! What this means is there will be plenty of Niner gear on hand at Lutz Live this year. Want to see our products up close? Come to Lutz Live. Want to avoid shipping costs and pick up and order in person? Come to Lutz Live. Want to buy some quality Niner gear? Well, you get the picture
Anymore details on the event next Wednesday? My wife and I didn’t make it out much last year, but the two years prior we were at 90% of them. We enjoy Wild Wing and will be at as many shows as possible this year.

That’s ok, I answered you anyway!

Will there be any specials? I know they have two for tuesday, but what about wednesday for lutz live. Maybe something with a school id?

Hams was not a safe location. Cars got broken into a lot.

Little inside info
Hams Charlotte may not be open much longer.

They have been in business since 1935, but apparently could not survive the loss of Lutz Live .
You were a little bit late on that one Cha

Chapter 11 doesnt mean they are shutting down
it means reorganization
A Chapter 11 filing signals that a business intends to reorganize and emerge from bankruptcy, rather than liquidate and close
Charlotte store will be shutting down soon.

:ticked:

Have we been relegated to1660 again and Davidson given 610 AM? Why? And after all these years, why can’t we get a sponsor and a radio station that can be received more than 10 miles from Charlotte, or at least on one that can be heard after the sun goes down?

Not a deterrent, apparently.

Hky, I hear there’s been an upgrade at 1660

Have you ever dealt with the Charlotte police? Not the most competent people, especially the University ones.

Cha said the distance has been improved since it became talk radio. It may also be streamed online since 1660 is now streamed.

I hate that a company that’s been open since the 1930’s is in trouble, but I only went to Ham’s once and the service was sssssssssllllllllllooooooooowwwwwwwww. My girl went for a second time (she was with me the first time) with her friends for lunch and everyone at the table got the wrong stuff made late. If the whole company is run that way I can see the problem for sure.

As for Lutz Live, this is a good move. As for 49erFanatics.com it’s a GREAT MOVE. Nick will be selling more stuff for sure.:49ers:

I have been several times when in Charlotte and was especially impressed by the big niner logo painted on the wall. There may be stuff from other schools there but it stands out more than any. Just need the staff to wear soem niner gear on Lutz Live night
!!

Could see that one coming a mile away. The service was horrendous, the food was overrated and the last couple times I went, I felt very unsafe. The last time, a fight broke out in the parking lot and someone pulled a gun. I say good riddance.

WWC is definitely an upgrade. Much better atmosphere and food. It has more of a collegiate feel to it than Ham’s did anyway. The Italian wings and ginger wings are awesome. About the only two I get there anymore.

The Ham’s in g’boro are much nicer, the one in Charlotte is a big letdown in comparison.
