Good stuff from Coach. Xavier is playing 5 guys who can shoot the three and is a difficult matchup for us b/c Coleman and Nance have trouble guarding on the perimeter. Xavier crowd is going to be large and loud. A MAJOR CHALLENGE!!!
They asked about the GW ending. He said 2 issues: One Hall not being given the intentional and the other the replay being used to call the tech. He said he was told by the refs that Leemire’s elbows were unprovoked. Also, the refs said they didn’t have a call on the Leemire incident and were going to review the tape. One of main reasons for doing the appeal/review is to clear Leemire for the way he’s being portrayed.
