We get Beasley. But I say lets strike. At the Indiana game I refuse to cheer stand up or even be part of niner nation until the basketball teams proves it deserves fans. Isn’t it also sign day or whatever I have a feeling I am bringin a “We want coach K…or anyone else!” sign.

Here’s a quote from 10 hours ago.
I agree I think Indiana fans will be there in force. I know I will be in my front row seat yelling and screaming, i can’t wait.
Wow! That’s a hell of a mood swing!
Relax a bit. Anyone who hates our program would love it if our fans gave up on ourselves. And anyone who’s supporting us right now wants us to keep cheering.
It’s ok to be pissed off over losing to Valpo. I think we’re all a little pissed off when our team loses.
Now go raise some hell at the Indiana game.

Go Niners ! Let’s hand the Hoosiers another one.

Strike? When did Charlotte fans become part of a Union? This is the dumbest idea I have ever seen posted on this site, and trust me, I post alot of stupid things myself in anger.
We are having a bad year, no doubt. I get so pissed my wife doesn’t want to go to the games with me sometimes, but I will not chant for another coach in Halton. I am not against booing when the team isn’t playing hard or when Lutz continues to ignore the fact that he needs to adjust his gameplan, but won’t chant for another coach in Halton.
I for one think Lutz needs to go. We should have never let him back this year, knowing that he is looking to make the next step to a major position. I don’t faught him for that, but I do faught him for the lack luster performances by his team and the ridiculous gameplans that moron draws up, especially at halftime.
This is going to be a long season. I can’t bare to watch it, but I will. Let’s support the team even though it hurts to watch them. There is always a chance to turn it around, slim, but hope.
Why should we not cheer. We’ll be playing on national TV, vs a traditional national superpower. However, if we get blow out by more than 20, I’ll be quite disappointed.
im dissapointed with the season yes…but im still a fan, wheather we win or lose…not cheering or whatever is stupid and makes u a bandwagon fan…if you dont want to be there, then dont go, just sitting there like an idiot is not gonna make the team go, damn, maybe we should play better so that guy will stand up
I’m looking forward to the game. I’m a Niner fan but I’m also a huge fan of college basketball in general. Hell, I’ll watch a Division II game if it’s good ball. We’re struggling and yes, it’s likely gonna be a long year. But I’m a 49er fan, one of the most historic programs in the country will be in Halton, it’s nationally televised, I already paid for the season tickets and it beats sitting on the couch watching the Ron Mexico obsession continue on Monday night.
A win would be super but I’ll settle for a great game against a great program if nothing else.
By gameday, I’ll be ready for it to start. I’ve been following this program for 20+ years, I’m not going to stop because of a loss to Valpo.
When the game starts, the team deserves my support and will have it. However, as a paying customer, I reserve the right to express frustration/anger/disappointment when things happen like the Valpo run in the 1st half that Charlotte could not stop.
I guess I’m starting realize how hard it is to be a Cubs fan or it was (until last year) to be a Red Sox fan.
It would be quite interesting if the entire student section turned it’s back for the first 5 minutes of the game.
Then again, I wouldn’t want to do that on national television…
I’d rather someone cut out my spleen with a rusty knife than turn on the Niners. We’re not in Philadelphia.

Why would you ever want to do something like that?
You have got to support your program. Not sure what statement is being made by doing that.
I guess I'm starting realize how hard it is to be a Cubs fan or it was (until last year) to be a Red Sox fan.
I’ve been a diehard Bills fan since the early 80’s so I’m all too familiar with the misery of being a sports fan. I still wake up in the middle of the night to the screams of “WIDE RIGHT!!!” This 49er season is nothing compared to what I went through with the Bills from 1990-1993…

It is ideas like this that give our fans the disgraceful reputation that we have.
It is ideas like this that give our fans the disgraceful reputation that we have.No.
Turning your back for the first few minutes to convey your dissapointment to a coach who has repeated the same thing for the past several years, except this time with a talented team, instead of yelling “**** you coach!!”, isn’t “disgraceful.” Something which has been done by the Cameron Crazies, who, as much as we’d hate to admit it, are a very loyal group of fans. It at the very least shows the strength and unity of the fan base.
It’s comments idiotic comments like “**** YOU REF!!” and “I ****ED YOUR MOTHER” that give us the “disgraceful” reputation we have. I’m referring to the same bandwagon fans who you’ll see at the big televised games, but are nowhere to be found during the rest of the season.

I disagree but I’m not about to argue about what is and is not classless with a member of our student fan base. That is like banging your head against a wall.
I don’t care if you turn your back on the game, but I would get a really bad crick in my neck from straining to see what’s going on. Face it, there is no reason to do anything in protest of your team doing bad because it probably won’t help any. No, don’t be content for losing either, but just be a fan and cheer for the team.
I’m sure our team will retreat into the locker room at half time with their heads hanging low because you’re the only person who has decided to not show support.
You’re an asshole. Seriously. Have you ever been stuck in a rut and not done as well as you should, and your parents say “Well we’re not going to be seen in public with you until you get out of that rut?”
Butcher, we don’t need “fans” like you.
Now go stick your head up a bull’s ass.
So we are 5-4, not what everyone was expecting. But to say you will not stand and cheer our team on, especially infront of a national audience against a pretty damn good team, is pathetic. Quit being babies and support your team, if we could pack Halton Arena out every game, then we might be able to give our team a hell of a lot better home court advantage. So for those who say this season is over already, get off the bandwagon and go jump on Chapel Hill’s or Duke’s.
