We recruited this guy pretty hard a few years ago, and now apparently we have interest again. He is at Eastern Oklahoma CC (Wilburnton, OK).
He is a 6’2, 190 lb. off guard that I believe originally committed to Temple but went the juco ranks instead.
anyone know why he left Temple? he started his first six games as a freshman
He was an academic casualty.

As a member of the 2003 class, he had offers from: Temple, Cincinnati, St. John’s, Charlotte, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, James Madison and Virginia Commonwealth. He eventually signed with Temple and started the first six games of his freshman year, but was later dismissed from the team (academics) and transferred to Eastern Oklahoma.
The schools that have contacted his juco coach include: Purdue, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Charlotte, Florida State, Missouri, Virginia Tech, East Carolina, St. Bonaventure and Nebraska all in the last three weeks. He currently has no offers.
Are we at all waiting on the Pigford situation before offering up our last scholarship for next year?
