Welcome aboard, Hayser. Good first post. No, all of us on here want her gone.
Any press is good press
Dubois confronts Judy about the firing:

I completely disagree with all of the âthis is a disasterâ comments.
Our RPI is currently 300 something. The team is playing with 0 heart. We have no incoming recruits of significant value.
I applaud the AD on this move.
Before you hit me with your, âbut LambertâŚâ comments, fam I hear you. But I would MUCH rather have one of them gone than none of them gone.
With what we know now this is a terrible move.
Iâve obviously been against the thought that firing people will fix anything right now but since Price goes I now agree the athletic dept needs new folks top to bottom.
The AD is just so unpredictable with these moves. Was firing coach Price a good move? Maybe, weâll see what happens.
No swan song for Judy Rose
That came out of nowhere. I figured they would let him finish the season. If they wanted to appeal to me they should have fired Lambert.
How was firing Price today a bad move? The decision to fire Price was the easy decision. Who should replace him is where ADs make their money. :-\
Georgia Tech Iâm sure is speed dialing Price this moment. Lol.
Exactly.
Everyone on here wanted to b**** about how bad he was but then when we let him go you all complain that this was like the apocalypse.
Mark Price was a travesty. Originally I thought we should give him another year just because I donât trust Judy, but we are getting even worse. At the beginning of the year some of yâall were arguing about whether we would jump 150 spots and compete for the NIT. Instead, we may possibly drop 150 spots. edit Wait, thatâs not possible, because our program is has become so abysmally terrible.
We have been pressuring the AD to do something. They did something. I may want Judy Rose gone. I may want Brad Lambert gone, but **** it, I wanted Mark Price gone too. And they responded.
âThey probably shouldnât have added a football programâŚâ
What a f***ing idiot. We shouldnât have retained Judy Rose to do it.

Welcome to the bandwagon!!
One of my friends is close with someone high in the AD.
Inside word is that Price lost the team. The players were about to quit on him and the AD had been questioning his commitment. Stated his heart wasnât in it.
From todayâs move:
Winners:
- Najee Garvin - He has made great strides from last year, has good size, will transfer up
- Jon Davis - People know his skills, will transfer up and go to the NCAAs his senior season
- Brad Lambert - Nobody is talking about him today
- Mark Price - He always wanted a shot at being a HC, he got it and didnât have to move to BFE to do it. He now has Christmas off and gets a nice parting gift ($$) to take the family on vacation. He will go back to the NBA as a shooting coach.
Losers:
- Hudson Price
- Houston Fancher - Success would have positioned him nicely for another HC position. Now he is going to finish out the year as a loser and have to go look for another Assistant position at a losing program.
- Fans - But keeping Price was going to make us losers too.

Fan base needs a little friction. Stirring things up is going to be good for us. Maybe not short term but definitely long term.
Hey Judy, at least youâve got people like Jay Bilas and Dick Vitale talking about us!! #MissionAccomplished

Easy for someone in the Ath Dept to say the team was about to quit on him that is an age old reason for firing coaches mid-year.

If they had any hope of things getting better this move sure didnât help that. Bilas said it best absolutely stunningâŚ
Rose coming out saying Mark Price lost the players. Which Price said he did not agree with. Rose is spinning this against Mark Price. Like she had to do something. Rose is digging this hole so much deeper. If the bad press doesnât get our Chancellor or BoT moving to have her resign, what will??
