I noticed George Mason lost twice to Hofstra this season. Why’s that? I like
the green and white jerseys for Mason. Mason to the Elite 8? WOW, looks
like it.
Can you imagine what would happen if George Mason wins the National
Championship. Who knows!!!

They have it tough also with Maryland, Georgetown, UVA in region, like us in NC,
but DC/MD/VA has >>> greater talent to pull from than the state of NC.

That’s certainly an understatement. Maryland Basketball DOMINATES the Fairfax area, where the main campus of George Mason is located. You guys think its bad with ACC gear on this campus…?? EVERYBODY on campus wears Maryland gear. The school has almost NO tradition, let alone basketball tradition. It’s a commuter campus of almost 30,000 students. Mason has it RIDICULOUSLY tough in that area, and its a miracle they’ve made it all the way into the Elite 8. And besides Maryland, as you mentioend, you’ve then got to deal with Georgetown, GW, UVA, and VA Tech to a lesser extent.
But being I transferred from Mason, I’m so proud of Coach Larranaga and the program. It’s a completely different campus after 2006.
