The McDonald’s All-American Nominees are out. This just a list of those who the coaches filled out forms on. This is cut down to 100 “McDonalds Finalists” and the the “McDonalds All American Teams” are picked from the 100.

Dewhurst, Wilderness, Andersen are all on there. Tatum isn’t, which really makes me think he is going the prep route.

That is very impressive, this shouldn’t get burried in the Wake sulking.

Dewhurst & Wilderness were boarderline top 100 recruits, closer to 150, at the beginning of the season and Anderson wasn’t on anyone’s map. Yet they are all in this list of the 100 best high school seniors. A great job by our staff to recognize overlooked talent yet again.

It is great news, but just a tiny correction, the list is the nominees, not the 100 list. There is a list of about 1,000 players.

Hopefuly, all our recruits will make the cut.
