Yesterday I attended the press conference with NWA, s9er and others. It was awesome to see our new AD talk about he vision he has for this place and putting in place his Gold Standard motto.
However, a few short hours later as I was settling into Flying Saucer for my buddies and I usual trivia Tuesday night who was sitting next to us other than Mike Hill and his fiance! They were at the booth next to us, I had a chance to talk with Hill and get a picture with him. What a guy! He is the real deal, the guy I saw on the podium was the exact same guy off of it.
He made a point to talk to us as he left and to say he is excited is putting it lightly. Was also awesome to see him try the Flying Saucer which is my personal favorite bar. The guy gets it and I think the students are going to love him.
Beyond excited! Go Niners!!
