This little gem comes from some tool on their board.
I have given this some thought, and I think that this will be the first time we actually ever consider Charlotte a big game for us.
Usually, it's there biggest game of the year when we travel to their gym, and our players kind of look at it like, "who's Charlotte?"

Yeah, who needs Cincy when we have the Tigers coming into town?
MK, I hope you straightened their stupid azzes out.
Memphis State fans often remind me of nc state fans. They do lots of bragging about only a few good years in the history of the school… and these good years occurred over 20 years ago. Both programs have pretty much sucked for a long time.

everyone is welcomed at memphistigers.org. You guys are no worse than the crap we hear from Mississippi fans.
Thanks squid, but trust me when I say, you are vastly in the minority when it comes to that view, especially when it’s me you’re talking about.
The reason we've never won at Halton is that we've never brought a disciplined team into Halton and you can't beat a Lutz team if you aren't disciplined.
I don’t know, I think the last team you brought up was pretty good with Wise.

Was that the DaJuan and Done year? That was my freshman year... Memphis came in, stomped on our logo, and we then proceeded to jump out to a 20-5 lead. Beautiful.
Can not wait to get our paws on these guys Wednesday. They think they are some premier basketball program. Hope they know who Charlotte is when they see the name, CHARLOTTE and 13 dunking in their grill.
I spent some time yesterday at memphistigers.org and I have serious doubts if fsquid is a Memphis fan.
Everyone else on their board communicates in a manner that all of college sports revolves around the Tigers, that everyone hates them & everything that goes against them is a conspiracy to keep them from being successful.
What I found to be the funniest was this ongoing reference to 6BC. If it is such a clever reference for the 49ers, why do so many of their fans have to continually ask what it means?
Jan 30 2005, 10:34 PM…what is 6BC?
Feb 14 2005, 09:02 PM… Can someone explain why Charlotte is referred to as 6BC? I don’t get it.
Feb 17 2005, 02:32 PM… Pardon my ignorance, but where did the term “6BC” come from?
Feb 20 2005, 12:39 AM…why it charlotte referred to as 6bc?
Honestly, all smack aside, this is the biggest game against Charlotte that I can ever remember. Maybe it’s the conference’s fault for not putting us against each other more, but I have never viewed Charlotte as any kind of rival. I know there’s a lot of bad blood between Memphis and Charlotte fans going back to the cusa-talk days, but when the teams go years without playing each other, it’s just kinda hard to get excited over a game against you guys.
Our next two games are huge…we’ve got you, then we’ve got Louisville…so hopefully, by Saturday night around 11:00 Central, we will be in sole possession of first place in the conference.
Gotta love these cute little tidbits from their website…
Referring to last year’s Charlotte vs Syracuse game…
Charlotte, NC -It seemed innocuous at the time -- a rare, early-season regional affair between the defending national champions and an also-ran from Conference USA.
Damn regular season championships just don’t mean what they used to.
and then…
With DePaul losing to Charlotte this week, Memphis is now the only team in Conference USA that is 100% in control of it's CUSA Championship destiny...
I believe Louisville and Charlotte might beg to differ.
Can’t let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I just checked out their board. I always thought Tar Hole fans thought their s$#t didn’t stink. Those memphis fans are much worse and have nothing to base it on. It’s actually entertaining reading. I am beginning to want this game more than the UAB game.

You do realize you guys sound exactly like everything you're accusing us of, right...? lol
hornlake, there is one major difference. we have beaten you almost every time we have played you.
