Wow! We aren’t in Kansas (or with the big boys) anymore…
If Lunardi and Palm are correct, then C-USA is going to be a one-bidder most likely represented by Southern Miss.

Lotta golf left…
Not sure what the first weekend of league play has shown us other than LA Tech shares the early lead with Tulsa and UTSA at 2-0. Per WarrenNolan.com, the conference has improved to #16, sandwiched in between #15 Colonial and #17 MAAC.
Anyway, LA Tech travels to Southern Miss (1-1) on Sunday in a early showdown between the projected conference frontrunners, while Tulsa - which beat USM this past weekend - is coming to Halton on Thursday.
How many of y’all would like to see us play a stronger nonconf SOS even if it means going on the road more? Our SOS, along with the rest of the conf’s was atrocious.
I can’t believe how many non D I games were played. We were the only school that didn’t have any!
Old Dominion and Tulsa have played an all D-I sked as well, with the latter having the best SOS in C-USA.
Conference RPI has inched up a bit this week. Now 14th between #13 Horizon and #15 Summit. Top 3 C-USA teams are Southern Miss at #40, LA Tech at #80, and Charlotte at #103.
FAU notched a nice win over Harvard last night.
Easily one of Mike Jarvis’s best wins in Boca Raton since taking over the FAU program and one of the worst for Tommy Amaker as Harvard’s head coach. In fact, Crimson’s 23% on FGs (14 of 61) lowest during Amaker’s tenure in Ivy.
Per Warrennolan.com, C-USA moves up a spot to #13 between #12 MAC and #14 Horizon. Top 5 are #34 Southern Miss, #78 LA Tech, #89 UTEP, #90 Middle Tennessee, and #115 CHARLOTTE.
According to Kenpom we are still about 50 slots better than ECU. That’s something (especially if we can pull out the win, then fire our coach for an atrocious year). [Praise Lebo].
