Michael Beasley Recruiting

I heard TMB broke Chuck Norris down off the dribble and dunked over Bill Brasky.
Let's not get carried away now. Chuck Norris > all.

The only way Chuck Norris would ever “break” would be just in case he had to break his own arm off to fight somebody with.

Beasley>Norris

WHAT??? Facts about TMB;

Chuck Norris has worked out on a Total Gym, 30 min a day, 5 days a week for 10 years and still can’t carry TMB’s jock.

Chuck Norris once met TMB. Chuck Norris now pees sitting down. Chuck Norris realizes he is not a real man.

If TMB was a gay his name would be Chuck Norris.

If TMB had a cat his name would be Chuck Norris. Why? Because Chuck Norris is a p****.

After receiving repeated roundhouse kicks to the head from Chuck Norris, TMB asked, “Can you go a bit lower? I had to carry Tywon Lawson all year and my back is killing me.”

There are no such things as lesbians, only women who have never seen TMB play basketball.

There are no such things as lesbians, only women who have slept with Chuck Norris.

Every mathematical inequality officially ends with “< TMB”

:lmao: These are great. I hope Beasley sees the one about carrying Tywon Lawson, that is hilarious!

LOL, we could have a different TMB/Chuck Norris poster every game and still not use the same poster in 2007!

Please don’t count on Beasley
Please don’t count on Beasley
i am not disagreeing with you but we should also not discount him. i think he has a better shot of playing here than of not playing here but i am not counting on anything until signing day.

Too late, people have been counting on him for over a year now.

He is a great, special player, if he comes it will be very exciting. But look at our recruiting this year and what we have in line for 2007, regardless if Beasley does show up or not, his effect will be seen long after he spends his one year playing college basketball (no matter where he spends that year).

2002-2005 we get a total of 6 freshmen, 1 graduates(Withers), 1 will graduate(Goldwire), 3 transfers(Iti, Grier, Best) and 1 status unknown(Lewis)

2006: 4 freshmen signed with 2 more (not including Beasley) with strong verbals.

His impact of Beasley’s verbal is obvious, and at this point we still stand to gain a LOT even if something happens.

With that being said, LakeNorman has it right, the chances of him playing here are higher than him not playing here. Official excitement can’t begin until November, but we are in the best position possible at this point.

I would love to see him play here, just don’t always believe everything you hear… Look around check things out.

Irregardless we have some good folks coming in and next year looks ok

If you have any knowledge that is lacking from the board, please share.

Of course you can’t truly believe it until he signs, but there is more evidence that says he will come here than there is saying he won’t. Unless I’m missing something of course.

you guys should know by now…in everything…

GET IT IN WRITING

We’ll see how that turns out in November, Savio.h

TMB dunks on Chuck Norris.:hammer:

Looks like sf’s words were more timely than we knew.

If Dalonte is heading to K-State then Beasley I’m sure will go with him.

Just pathetic.

Bob Huggins the antithesis of Class

That’s pretty much a given, unfortunately. Although, I’m fare more upset over losing Dalonte. Mike would have only played one season here but Dalonte has proved to be a very valuable recruiting tool for us. Not sure how much longer we could have kept him around anyway but the timing of this (Beasley) just makes this a terrible situation for us. The bottom line is that we’re never going to be able to match the big boys when they come seeking our assistants.

Back to the drawing board for 2007 it looks like. At least we have some other guys coming in that should pan out but none will come near to being as talented as Beasley.

Agree Beasley was a one and done, maybe two and done, but the entire thing is just the way things are, do you think Huggins was just sitting around doing nothing while he was unemployed? Do ya think he may have made calls to folks?

I’m really disappointed in this situation.

Have Faith…It’s still early. You are recruited until the ink hits the paper…
