Michael Beasley Recruiting

I’ve heard a lot of talk about how Beasley would attract other big names to Charlotte, his best friend Nolan Smith decided for Duke. I don’t expect him to bring in top tier talent like Smith, but any news on whether he’s been any aid in trying to reel in some other big name players? I know most of this should usually be the coach’s jobs but you have to take advantage of landing a talent such as Beasley and build your program around him.

He has helped already.

I know that Cameron Tatum has said that he is excited to play with Mike Beasley. Im sure he wasn’t the reason he came to Charlotte but I know that Mike had some part of him coming here. I think he has been linked with Kenyan Harmon aswell.

Bottom line is that everything to do with Mike Bealsey is positive. Exposure to the program, future recruits and he brings excitment and a buzz to Charlotte.

Who knows who else might be on the radar for 07’ and 08’. Im sure Mike will be talking to a couple others about Charlotte

If, and that’s a big if, Beasley suits up in a Niner uniform, I hope he lives up to the hype. Martin Iti was supposed to be the second coming of Christ.

We got very early commitments from Harman (2007) and Tatum (now likely 2007) because of Beasley. It’s also put us in the running for several other guys.

Army was interested in Harman? Must mean he’s excellent in the classroom as well.

There’s a chance Tatum will join Harman at Patterson next year. Imagine Beasley, Tatum, Harman and likely a FR big man coming in together in 2007.

Yeah, I guess Martin missed the mark by a little bit.

My question is…What was worse?

A) New Coke
B) Martin Iti
C) "Another Banner Year"
D) Other -

when beasley gets here he will be the real deal.

if beasley gets here he will be the real deal.

Fixed…
