I have to call bullsh-t on all this blackout talk. How in the hell could a road game in Amherst be blacked out here? I donāt have any special subscription to have MASN & MASN2 on Dish. Same deal at my dadās house with DirectTV. Sounds to me like these places just have no clue. Iāll bet they thought you were the stupid one for requesting such an āobscureā game (āYou want to watch UNC-who? Uhh, sorry, we canāt get that here. Anyways, Maryland-Carolina is on, what could be better?ā).
MASN is Channel 432 on Dish, and I believe itās 626 on DirecTV. CSTV is Channel 152. Next time somebody tries to feed you that ****, you ought to demand that they just shut up and find the frigginā game. Hell, you can even use the remote and the menus to do a text search on the schedule.
Oh by the way Homie, I guess you didnāt know about Champions, which is right on The Square in Independence Center (Marriott)? Not that I think they had the game tuned in, either. And I donāt remember the uptown Picassoās being anything like the others, as far as being a place for sports viewing. Are they even open on weekends?
I agree. It seems like most of the people working in the sport bars donāt know what channels they have or know how to find them.
I now just call and give them all the info (channel, channels name, game time, and teams playing) to make it easy for them to where it would be impossible to comeback saying that they donāt know or are not sure. If Iām already there and they do this, then I just ask for the remote and find out myself.

Youāre way off on that oneā¦Me and another guy walked over to the AV panel-rack behind the bar at Fox and Hound and he showed us the DirecTV guide on the tv screen, when he clicked on the Niner game, it gave a message saying the āgame was unavailable in this areaā
I think weāre only getting 2 games on there this season, arenāt we? This one and one moreā¦
Three. Hofstra was on there too⦠unfortunately.
Wow, just looking at the schedule, we have ALOT of conference away games left that have no TV at all. Our tv package really does need an upgrade. @ Rhode Island to end the year is not on the tube? Jeeze.
I guess the game must have been blacked out in Massachusetts. . . Only thing I can figure is maybe some of these places are Red Sox friendly, and their programming is tailored to suit that.
Iām glad we have had some games on MASN - without them, we would have almost zero TV coverage. The A10 TV package is horrid. Even so, the announcers are not great and the presentation of the game looks cheap, but itās a regional sports network - not exactly ESPN.
I for one hope that the A10ās success will lead to a few games being picked up later this year (Charlotte and others) but also the potential for a revised A10 deal next season.

What restaurants show all of the niners games on TV. Iām guessing maybe Hamās, can someone help me out and tell me where I can go to watch the game when they are away.

Ditto.
Isnāt MASN a sponsor of the program now?? They have an add on our scoreboard at Halton.
While it isnāt good for watching the game in a bar, channelsurfing.net has almost every A10 game on there. They had ourās saturday. Every team seems to have their games on except when we play someone at home (which I donāt care, but still). I think itās because of our yahoo feed for the home games though.
of course a new A10 commissioner will help too
New commisioner has two things on their plate off the bat. TV contract and holding officials responsible for the quality of the games they call.
