I love when Mitch takes it strong to the hole…makes a big diference with the way we play. His shot wasn’t falling early but it gives us a whole different speed out there. Also I know BP’s shot wasn’t falling but he had a big steal toward the end…he kept playing hard.
That dunk Mitch had was NASTY, I thought he was going to lay it in because he was so far from the hoop then all of a sudden. SLAM right in someone’s grill!!!
Great point. We’re a different team with him pushing the ball. Mitch can get to the basket on anyone. His speed is of the charts. But, FINISH or quit taking it in there.
He and EJ missed enough layups for us to have won by 20.
Speaking of aggression… I could almost feel it, on Withers’ last posession when he got fed down low… he immediately started backing down Greer and their other big guy. “I’m taking both your asses to the rim, and the only way you won’t get embarrassed is if you foul me”. Which Greer did for his 5th. You can immediately see/sense it when Withers is “on”.

Threw it down and sorta posed under the basket for a bit. Perty perty stuff.
