Saw this article in the Observer this morning http://www.charlotteobserver.com/breaking/story/1259822.html
Charlotte Eagles vs. New England Revolution
March 13 @ 6 pm @ UNC Charlotte’s TransAmerica Field
I didn’t see anything on charlotte49ers.com about this. Does anyone know if they will be selling tickets or have more info in general?
That’s awesome. I’m all for anything that brings the public out to see our beautiful campus. Everyone always thinks we have a rinky dink little campus, and is blown away when they actually get out here and see it. Maybe we could start doing something similar in other sports as well. I’d also like to see major concerts booked in Halton, that’d be awesome.

We really do have a beautiful campus, especially with all the new buildings by the practice fields. I want to show it off!

The collection of the last few posts gave me an awesome idea…
…what if the Checkers played a game in Halton? Huh, huh, huh?
Anything to get the people of Charlotte onto campus is a good thing, right?

lol, i thought about that if we ever got a hockey team, it would look awkward, the base is too small even with the removable seating.
…and then the cost to lay ice

I thought the removable seating created just enough room for a rink?
