As HP said, I’m sure that was of him getting attention of a player, not a ref. Additionally, these changes incorporate the enforcement of staying off of the court. I saw Lutz jump a few times the other night to get back in his proper place.

This is the same kind of silly crap that the NCAA need not concern itself with. The antics of a coach are the sole responsibility of that institution, since they will be answering for it. Coaches getting fired up brings a passion to college basketball thats part of what makes college b-ball great. The NBA suffers because its not the coaches who do the trash talking its the players. However in college demonizing the other teams coach and then watching him flip out is great. I’m sorry but the NCAA needs to be downgraded from bumbling bureaucratic nightmare to say continental congress level of power, morons

I did notice Lutz trying hard to restrain himself. I even noticed him jump back quickly after being outside the box.
I was wondering if something was up, guess he will have a difficult time adjusting since he was so emotional.

That was carried over by one of our mods from a duplicate thread he started earlier this afternoon.
Giving the officials more power, fantastic.
Now when these terrible A-10 refs officiate the game as poorly as possible, our coach cant even let them know how much they’re ruining the game.
I hope this new law isn’t abused.
now for the next question, which coach will be ejected from the most games? I put Knight, Coach K and Gary Williams in the top ten preseason poll.
i think you guys are missing the scary point here. We get what 2 games on tv last year, did nothing in the post season, yet we get enough recognition for our coach as being a loudmouth that he is on USAToday.
K, Knight, gary williams, all are bad, but someone thinks enough of lutz that he deserves to be on the cover.
Well then perhaps this season may be more of a test for lutz than the team itself, we need results and we need him in the game. I know we have all been disappointed by the bad play at the end of the season and the ncaa coaching, but if he misses march madness again…hmmmm.

They’ll get T’d up, but refs will be very hesitant to give them the second one, especially since those coaches’ games will be on the tube often. If the reason some of the ranting is for poor officiating, it will show.
