“No good movie is too long, and no bad movie is short enough”
I like that haha. I’ll be there opening weekend.
Just saw the movie and enjoyed it….a lot. It was definitely better than the last one and while Raiders & Last Crusade are classics, this one had plenty of Easter eggs and the classic Nazi villain to root against. Without giving away details, the plot was pretty fantastical (but so is the idea of finding the cup of Christ and everlasting life) but when she punches him, it was exactly what the movie needed and led to what I thought was a good ending.
Just my $.02 but it was entertaining, fun and I would see it again….not something I can say about a lot of the re-boot/re-visited 80s and 90s classics as of late.
clt hears the barbie movie is good
This is good.
I have no comment on Star Wars. Not a fan past the original trilogy.
But huge fan of Marvel.
They went wrong post Endgame and were putting out too much content and quality suffered.
Screen Actors Guild on strike.
I agree. I’ve seen a lot of push back, but the streaming shows have been so uneven that pulling back a little should be good.
They need to increase the quality of writing though.

What an absolute joy of a summer movie experience. More please!
In my personal opinion this was the Bond movie that we were robbed of when Daniel Craig was killed off in the last one.
From Gareth Edwards (Rogue One):
The visuals are nice. Denzel’s kid is the lead.
What do y’all think?
Saw this trailer yesterday. I think it looks good.
Big fan of JD Washington. Thought he was awesome in Black Klansman and Tenet.
This looks pretty solid.
However currently I have not been to the theater since before the pandemic and my only plan is to break that streak for Oppenheimer.
