If you look at the picture below, you may notice a typo. Actually I doubt it was a typo. The people who put Google Maps together probably truly believe the name of our school is āThe University of NC-Charlotte.ā You know why? Because our name is freaking misleading and confusing! Please change it!!

the operators of the scoreboard this weekend were very misinformed. on saturday they had us as UNC, which i dint really mind because they have a 1 lax team thats good. they also called us north carolina that same day.
Sunday as slightly better they had us as UNC-C on the board, but changed the name during announcing several times. we were charlotte, north carolina charlotte, university of north carolina (several times with an at) charlotte, UNCC, UNC-Charlotte.

I love it. Not only do both Yahoo Maps and MapQuest also have our name totally wrong, they donāt capitalize the ācā in āNC.ā Maybe Chapel Hill should get mad about this one too.
