neat.

Nice looks like another year of the huskies getting their ass kicked by Big Red.

We’ll see about that. Perhaps if you limited yourselves to only recruiting within Gaston County folks wouldn’t complain so much. Interested to see how many of the Red Raiders’ student athletes bus in from the other side of the Mighty Catawba. Sure are a lot of really good football players for a community that is 99.9999999% pure Crackers. ::slight_smile:

Why all the realignment?

That is funny. Belmont has a few areas where there are other ethnicities. I actually am very worried about losing McAdenville and Cramerton to the new HS. I have a feeling Red Raider football is about to take a nose dive.

Yep, like Ashbrook’s and Huss’ did when Forestview opened. I hear Cramer HS will draw from what is now SP, EG and F’view’s attendance areas.

Will be interesting to see how they district this new school. I remember when Forestview (I knew they’d be the new fufu school when they weren’t named South Gaston like they should have been) was districted. The map of their school district looked like it had two horns pointed right at Ashbrook and Huss. Those “horns” of course were toward Camelot and Ashbrook Village. For those not familiar with Gaston county, those are where athletes tend to live and are within sight of Huss and Ashbrook.

Ah politics and sports!
