This is all dumb.
There arenât that many of the players who are covered by these restraining orders.
and they should get to come back.
Is it fair that the powers that be screwed that class out of the fifth year?
What the hell difference does it make if they were on a camp deal?
Like college sports is so precious all of a sudden?

What the hell does that mean? If you play college sports youâre a college athlete. Thereâs some magical halo that disappears when you get a check from the NFL for a camp deal??
Whoever made the rule that they would not give the class of 22 the 5th year was an idiot or group of idiots. You could see this coming a mile away.
And they pass the rule in June?
Did they really think they werenât going to get sued?
The conferences are going to get sued of they try to make these last minute rules overriding what judges have decided.
I hope LSU (and Iâm not a fan) sues the crap out of the SEC and or dares them to take action.
The hypocrisy of it all just galls.
All this for a one year problem for a relatively small number of players.
I believe that rule was all due to timing. Rosters were set by the time it got implemented. Coaches didnât want to have to deal with the possibility of pushing guys off their rosters to make room for those guys and they didnât want to see them on other rosters so they just told them no.
Think we all saw the issue right away. None of this surprises me.
