They are certainly making all the appropriate moves / noises, but I still think they won’t pull the trigger, unless LSU makes them or baits them into it.

I think St. Thomas was last school to be expelled from a conference though that occurred while the Tommies were still D3.
And, of course, Temple football from the Big East.
Anyway, the SEC last lost members when Georgia Tech left in 1964 and Tulane in 1966. Those were voluntary exits, though.

Maybe they are serious. They’ve basically rigged up the eject button. Now they just have to press it.
I think LSU will back down but it will be very interesting if they don’t.

I agree, I like the one transfer piece but really dislike the scholarship. The University and it’s students continue to be getting screwed by both sides. The University/student fees pay for the players Education and the NIL. Would have really liked the student athlete (loosely used here) had to pick a payment plan. 3 options, scholarship no NIL, scholarship and reduced NIL or all NIL and they pay for the tuition from the NIL. But this is a pipedream
