this is a perfect example of whats unacceptable. HP points out two nice stories from hometown papers regarding the NCAA golf chmapionship, and as I look thru my sports page this morning, I donāt even see a little blob on us being in 6th place at the NCAA Championship.
is the golf team front page? of course not, but what they did yesterday in the opening round should be metioned. Other papers obviously agree.
and by the way, there are a ton of golfers in chlt, Iām sure they would be stunned to learn how great our golf is (6th among all NCAA) on day 1ā¦more than I can say about some fish 75 years ago.

Little blob is an approriate name for what we got in the Observer. There are a few lines about the first round, Coastal Carolina in 2nd, us at 6th, and the other Carolina schoolsā standing.

Top 15 after tomorrow. Scores do not reset. We are playing the ātougherā nine first, so if we can get through relatively unscathed, we might could make a run at the 2nd round lead.
