Hopefully that licensing figure is a wake up call for some better/creative branding…. One place i would like to see go or move to 3rd or 4th tier status i.e, only rolled out every so often is the Airport Code CLT. Doubt the CLT brand has proven to be appealing.
With the massive ESPN layoffs, wondering how many people still think the media rights coffers are bottomless? Sure they are doing it to free up some cash, but I think the well is pretty close to fully tapped. I might expect some cutbacks in upcoming conference deals.
The two teams that will help us the most are Army and Navy for TV viewership. These two teams are our biggest pulls.
