It was Favre’s iinvolvement with the Southern Miss volleyball program while his daughter was a player - among other things - that got him embroiled in the largest ever welfare fraud scheme in Mississippi. Apparently made restitution to the state though there’s still a dispute about whether he owes interest on what he has already paid.
