yeah… let me put it this way… at the rate we’r going - the bookstore isnt going to get much money from me this year… UNC Charlotte has left my acceptable vocabulary. Its slowly but surely beginning to edge its way over to the profanity section.
The funny thing is that if I remember correctly, that logo was not actually supposed to be released and was never liscenced. Wasn’t that correct Kevin?
ChevEE, that logo was one of the proposals that was in the original set of designs given to Athletics. It was never approved by them but approved by whomever the suit in charge of licensing is for the school. And unfortunately, that is the design most of the early manufacturers used. It’s not being distributed today but of course is out there and likely will be for years to come due to someone in high places.
Sometimes I think we’d be better off with just a block capital C.

Is there anywhere you can get a fitted Charlotte 49ers hat, maybe like the baseball team hat, that does not have the rim pre-bent? Like the New Era MLB hats you find in Lids, etc.
Also for the life of me could they just make a hoodie with the pick axe on it and maybe nothing else?

Lids.com has a good selection. Their stretch-fit (Z-fit) hats look like fitted hats, but they are better because the elastic form-fits your head. I’ve bought 2-3 hats from them. and liked them all.
